Re: [No Author?] No Author on Cover?

Signals. If we break with tradition, fine, but we only have so much capital with the reader, and we should spend it wisely and not squander it. Re: [THANK YOU] Our 1 year anniversary

And thank you for starting it.

Adjustments!

Absolute curse. I've had covers 'adjusted' by Createspace. One had my name curtailed somewhat. I just want them to leave it alone, so I can see what my mistake is and so fix it. Trying to work out the mistake from something that's been fixed is a strange game.

The blurb doesn't tell me anything about the book. It needs mentioning the main character and some hint about plot.

Re: [FORMATTING] What's your go to program?

I find Word perfectly acceptable. I do use 'CutePDF Writer' to print to PDF, because one of the versions of Word I use has been improved to the point of unusability.

Re: [INTRODUCTION] - Newbie with questions

It's something I've known for ages, but it was doing an MA in
Writing that I actually started doing it. It so catches that double
double word that's often hidden by a line wrap.

Re: [AUDIOBOOK] should I outsource?

You know, making the audio book could be part of the editing process. We're always advised to read our work aloud to spot errors, so the audio book could be part of the proof reading process.
