Re: [COVER] Opinions

Temple Williams also did one of my blurbs, he's pretty darn good at writing those things. Like you, I also cannot write a decent one no matter how hard I try.

Re: [FORMATTING] What's your go to program?

I also use Word, but I use Word 2003, before Microsoft added so many bells and whistles to it that they made it worthless.

[CAUTION!!] Virus found in a post

A word of warning to everybody. I clicked on a link in a post to check to see if it was porn, illegal content or just plain old spam. (It was porn and I deleted it AND BANNED the user and his/her IP address.) My mistake. Next boot-up of computer proved fatal - nothing worked - couldn't even use the ...

Re: [CREATESPACE] Total Ink Coverage

CS has no TIC/TAC limits. Don't even be concerned by the terms, they don't apply with CS.

Re: [CS and INGRAM] Can i publish on both at the same time?

There is one person over at the CS forum, I think maybe Tobe (tagrich) who has all of his books on both CS and IS and he has posted about his experiences several times over at CS. He seems to be very satisfied with it.

Walton - how about responding to my post in the Staff Room.

Re: [Privacy policy] Do you have a privacy policy for your website?

I believe that is ONLY IF you keep people's names, addresses, etc. I have a website and I do not have a privacy policy, terms of use or anything else. I don't have any way of keeping people's names or addresses, I don't have an idea who looks at my website. Why would I need such things? Don't believ...

Re: [FORMATTING] Title Page

You are surely not going to have copies in your hand on Feb 25. Not unless you pay for ALL of the premium services that IS offers and pay through the nose for those services. I just received an order from IS last week and it took just short of a month from my order to my receipt of the order. I sele...

Re: [INGRAMSPARK] Cover PDF

Okay, I assumed that something with a 5 was older than something with a 7 in the name, but I forgot that they (Adobe) changed the entire numbering system when they went to the "CS" stuff. I just did a bit of research and CS5 is actually PS 12.0. So, sorry, please forgive my ignorance on the matter. ...

Re: [INTRODUCTION] First timer trying to publish a book for Family

You'll find that virtually all of the people here use either CreateSpace (CS) or IngramSpark (IS), as do I. I love CS for my paperback books and IS for my hardcover books. You have a lot of research and reading to do whichever one you choose because there are a lot of specifications which you have t...
