[Xinxii] I guess Xinxii is dead

Post by stacy734 » Sat Aug 18, 2018 12:13 pm

Hi everyone,

Maybe this is common knowledge, but just thought I'd post anyway.

I uploaded some ebooks to Xinxii 7 weeks ago. They are still in the queue for their review.

I have emailed them a few times, and over a month later, no response. So, RIP Xinxii.

I've never even heard of that. I initially thought this was a spam post, until I read it and saw your name. Where did you even find this company?

I’ve heard of them, but didn’t know anyone who used the service. I hope they don’t owe you money.

If you’re looking for a new aggregator, I highly recommend Publish Drive http://admin.publishdrive.com/registrat ... ooksptyltd

When CS started its decline I googled around and found some alternate companies to check out.

Lulu doesn't distribute non-English titles.
Publishdrive looks good but only does ebooks.
XInxii looks like they have a functional website but it seems to be abandoned.

I'm pretty happy with IngramSpark and so far haven't noticed any problems. They distribute books in Japanese without problem.

Thanks guys!

I have books in English and Spanish. I use IngramSpark for print and Publish Drive for ebooks. PD recently signed a huge deal with a Chinese ebook seller. I'm looking forward to reaching that market.

I've pulled all my content from KDP, because of reports of suppression and incorrect copyright issues. I haven't experienced that yet, and don't want to. Also, it makes my reporting easier with just the two online companies (along with my distributor makes three). With 80+ titles I need to simplify. I could go direct everywhere, but data management and reporting is a PITA.
