Re: [UK VERSUS US] Language and cultural differences

What?! What? You're off-centre there, I don't recognise incorrect spelling unless it's for colour to generate a flavour of foreign parts to prove you've travelled. Or for humour. Spelling should be English - the hint's in the name. I simply meant that Australians and Europeans in general have had t...

Re: [UK VERSUS US] Language and cultural differences

Normally, of novels and such, it wouldn't matter as the American spelling is universally accepted. That might not be the case for measurements, where Europeans and Australians have been using the metric system for some time now. While conversion of measurements is quite acceptable in cookbooks from ...

Re: [INTRODUCTION] Hi All

G'day Gareth, welcome to humble forum. For paperbacks, I am still convinced that CS is the way to go until they are absorbed by KDP. Re: [THE FORUM] Are we functioning

No problems signing in for me. Walton, I second Dan'l's request. If all new posts are shunted to a waiting queue to be moderated, then the forum will not be full of spam for other members to see. Especially as a lot of it is really filthy porn stuff.

Re: [THE FORUM] Are we functioning

Walton, you only have to peek at the Moderator Log to see that we zap heaps of spam on here. I have seen very little traffic from legitimate posters/members. The site is not totally dead, but ailing, I feel.

Hi Lily, welcome to the forum. Great covers. You should also include a link in your signature or your post to your website, to allow us to peruse your covers. I assume you have prices on there as well?
Joe.

Re: [THANK YOU] Our 1 year anniversary

Happy birthday/anniversary to us. Yeah, we have some spam, heavy on weekends I find, but the fact that we can get rid it ourselves, counts for a lot. No fear of moderation or account block-outs and such. Just zap em, and ban em. I hardly visit Createspace, and when I do, it is either a wall of spam,...
