The face looks out of place, too sunny a day and cheerful.

The blurb doesn't tell me anything about the book. It needs mentioning the main character and some hint about plot.

I find Word perfectly acceptable. I do use 'CutePDF Writer' to print to PDF, because one of the versions of Word I use has been improved to the point of unusability.

Writing that I actually started doing it. It so catches that double
double word that's often hidden by a line wrap.

You know, making the audio book could be part of the editing process. We're always advised to read our work aloud to spot errors, so the audio book could be part of the proof reading process.

Our publishing group occasionally moves towards the creative writing end of the process. There is good practice that'll help once you get to the publishing phase.
