[SHIPPING CHARGES] Should I charge my customer shipping?

I posted this same question in the CS forum, but just to be on the safe side, I'm also posting it on here. My quandry is whether or not to charge my customer shipping? I've already applied a 55% discount on the books, which leaves me with a profit of $277.42. Not having done any shipping to music or...

Re: [EMAILING BOOK & MUSIC STORES]

Walton and Michelle, Thanks a lot for the advice - it's given me a few ideas! At the moment I'm working on creating a trade-only page for my website. Most of it is done including a pdf downloadable price list, but I'm also going to include a pdf catalogue with book covers, titles and ISBNs. It'll be...

Re: [COVERS] Advice on options

David, I haven't any direct experience of using Fiverr for cover design work, but can comment on Fiverr in a general sense. I've used Fiverr for both translation services and voice over work and on the whole the quality has been generally pretty good. You can get a good idea of the person you're dea...

[INTRODUCTION] Hi from Tobe at Cabot Books

Hi all, I've completely forgotten whether I introduced myself on here or not? Anyhow, if not, I've been in the indie publishing business since 2005, but only joined CS in 2016, followed about 6 months later by IngramSpark. I write and publish books on music - namely chord theory for an indecent amou...
