Re: [CreateSpace] PDF transfer problems

Although I use the templates from CS all the time, many folks are unsuccessful with them. They are very delicate and full of glitches if mishandled. If you say you did your original manuscript in Word, then produced a pdf from that, why are you then going back to the template? If you like the format...

Re: [KDP] Giveaway

That's great Dan'l. I remember a post of yours maybe a year or more ago on CS where you asked if people could post about their freebies because you were living a fairly thrifty lifestyle. I hope you enjoy it. Don't worry about when you can get to read it or even if you do. I wasn't fishing for compl...

[KDP] Giveaway

I am currently running a giveaway for my novel, Daintree Denizens, if anyone is interested. Only available from the US store, though. Aussies can't buy from the US store. Giveaway is running for five days only. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077WFF51R Only had good reports from readers so far, despite i...

[KDP-CS] One Step Closer

Another nail in the CS coffin by the looks of it.

My guess is another year at most until CS transfers paperbacks to KDP. I will place my bet on the end of the next financial year. A pool anyone? $1 a guess.

In a word...yes. However, you would be best advised to go through Ingram Spark if you wanted POD printer other than CS.

Re: [Streetlib] Trying another outlet

Thanks Michelle. I agree with the horrible interface. How did you get out of Streetlib? I haven't worked out how to unpublish a book with them yet. I messed up h their difficult interface, and doubled up, so I have to get rid of the superfluous one.

[Streetlib] Trying another outlet

I recently published one of my books on Streetlib, mainly to get onto google Play and others that D2D does not reach. Does anyone have any experience with this outlet? Good or bad? https://www.streetlib.com/ Also, in case it is news to anyone... Recent announcement made by Streetlib newsletter...Wal...

Re: [Ingram Spark] Switching

The setup fee is per book, but there is a promotion on at the moment to allow you free setup. I don't know what is off hand...SPARK...something or rather. Shouldn't be too hard to find it. Make sure you get your submissions correct the first time, because there is also a revision/re-submission fee.

Re: [UK VERSUS US] Language and cultural differences

What?! What? You're off-centre there, I don't recognise incorrect spelling unless it's for colour to generate a flavour of foreign parts to prove you've travelled. Or for humour. Spelling should be English - the hint's in the name. I simply meant that Australians and Europeans in general have had t...
