Re: [COVER] Opinions
Thank-you Michelle. I appreciate your taking the time to make a comment. I have had someone look at the blurb and the following is the result: This was the original offered by the collaborator: The first killing shocks the township of Ingham, in Queensland, Australia with its brutality. Detective Se...

Re: [COVER] Opinions
Had another crack at this. Found a premade to suit. Still not overly impressed with the blurb and calling it a WIP. Will try to find pro help in that regard. Thoughts? BTW, came across a brilliant piece about blurb writing. http://victoriamixon.com/2016/03/21/how-to-write-a-blurb/ Now, you'd think t...

Re: [CreateSpace] Digital Viewer + Chrome
Just another thought Kay, have you done a cleanout lately? Of your cookies and cache? Sometimes that will clear a few issues.

Re: [CreateSpace] Digital Viewer + Chrome
I just went over to CS to see if I can view the only custom-made cover I have in the reviewer and it worked perfectly. I am using Chrome for my browser and have not had to adjust anything. Walton may have an answer for you as he is up with the techno-stuff more than I. So you are not able to use the...

Re: [CREATESPACE] draft book (24 pages)
Or you could do what I did for my practice/draft book by writing a few pages. That silly little test book of mine, book for book, has outsold all my others.

Re: [COVER] Opinions
Thank-you all. One thing I know, my blurbs always suck! I can't write a good blurb to save myself. Temple Williams wrote one for me a few years ago that was killer, but I do not ask an author for favours. I will have to rethink this one a bit. Thanks for your opinions.
Joe.

Re: [Cover] Opinions
No. The heartbeat on the monitor just seemed a good idea rather than anything like an actual heart. There is a vague connection to chemistry, but that's about as close as it gets to anything medical. In my second draft, I could conceivably have a victim/s hooked up to a monitor if need be. I like th...

[COVER] Opinions
I'd like to ask the group for their opinions on my new book cover. Too simple? It is a psychological thriller. The title has a reference in a passage within the book alluding to a truly evil person having a black and dead heart.

Re: [Rankings] Bragging!
Thank you. My bloody practice book just hit number twelve in an equally obscure sub-genre because of a mini free book promo on KDP. Next thing you know, I'll be accused of rank manipulation! All sorts of really bad things happening in KDP land at the moment. All sorts of million dollar scams and man...
