Re: [SPAM] Strategy . . . Comments Wanted

I believe the common thread for spammers is the inclusion of a link/URL in every spammer's post. I think permission should be required for any first post to contain an active link/URL? That may upset a rare first-time legitimate self-pubber, but I'm sure they would understand if it was explained in ...

Re: [CS] New book ... bad cover

Sorry to hear that, especially as I am waiting on tenterhooks to receive a proof copy of my second novel with a non-CS cover. I didn't receive any adjustment notices, so am hoping for the best. Walton, our head honcho here is a major player when it comes to anything pictorial so he will no doubt be ...

Re: [CS, Kindle merger] More proof

Sorry folks, my bad! It seems I have been stung with some Amazon Prime membership fee which I have to investigate further as I did not know there was any sort of fee involved. My other purchases from CS came through as per normal. Forgive an old fool his impatient, loose investigations.
Joe.

[CS, Kindle merger] More proof

I just investigated a strange bill on my credit card statement after placing an order from CS for Christmas stock of my paperbacks. One bill came through from Createspace as normal for a single proof copy of my new novel, another came through from Amazon pme for the bulk order! Anyone else noticed a...

G'day and welcome to the forum. I reckon one of our moderators will be the best person to advise on your book and picture quality etc. Dan'l (aka Danwiz), has co-authored over forty books of some of the finest landscape and flora photographs I have seen. If he doesn't get around to this post, you mi...

G'day mate, welcome to the forum and congrats on the huge achievement. How about a link to your Amazon book site so we can have a squiz at your work?

Re: [CS] Author passes away

Wow, David, you sure know how to throw a wet blanket over things, don't you? Sheesh! LOL Kidding aside, it is pretty good advice. I have yet to do so and am ashamed that I haven't.
Have a safe day,
Joe.

Re: [SHIPPING] UK delivery times for proofs

Ed, I am of the old school of belief where such things are concerned. I would rather have proof/back-up and not need it than the other way around. For me, it is just an assurance that if things get cock-eyed I can send them a scan of what I have approved, as Walton said. I also have found CS to be v...

Re: [Book Ratings] Ratings Spike

As I have sold only digital copies online, I can't see that being the answer unless customers are allowed to return digital copies?. The only hard copies sold so far of that particular book have been sold by me in Australia, so not possible for them to be returned. I am not overly concerned as it is...
