Re: [Covers] How-to Build Your Own

Jewellery making is not a good analogy for me. Staying with the metal theme mine is more like panning for gold. Sometimes I strike lucky early on with all the elements fitting in to place in the way I had imagined, other times it takes a lot longer, and others, of course, it doesn't work st all and ...

Having something like that to hand when you struggle with something that is not going quite right, would be great. I am reasonably au fait with layers in paint shop pro which I use, but if I have a gap betw...

[spam] how to deal

I notice the odd spam sneaks through but can't see any method of reporting or marking or whatever. Do we have to leave it all to the mods? Not really fair especially as it's summertime in Alaska!

[KDP] Converting for kindle.

Walton you said that you wanted more questions but this may not be what you had in mind, but it is a step up from teach me how to copy and paste. Re: [marketing] using FB and twitter

Thanks for that both. Sarah I followed the link and found the quick connection to your .com page. Impressive. Michelle with regard to spam, as a gardner I think that a weed is just a plant in the wrong place. As a non marketeer spam is any unsolicited message that doesn't interest me. My friends and...

[nom de plume] rewriting using different author name

I am considering rewriting, heavily revised, one of my non fiction books and would like to use a nom de plume.
I realise this would the be a new book, isbn, etc but am wondering if I could fall foul of amazons anti plagiarism regime.
Is this likely?

Cheers. Ed

[marketing] using FB and twitter

Have had both of these accounts for some years and have not used for marketing. Getting a bit close to second fiction effort and wondering how to use them. A "problem" from my point of view is that my Facebook friends are family and, well, personal friends so I am reluctant to effectively spam them as...
